John Norfor talked to me about my career options to go. Both he and i think the military is the best way to go. Im thankful for anyone's advice. The fact that im surrounded by 2 CAPTAINS, one F/O. Adela's dad is a Captain too.. wtf!!

Feels good being a positive influence in your kids' lives.

Camp tomorrow.
Isn't it sad that you cant turn things around to way it used to be, the way you wanted to be happy. Well i don't. I like sadness. I like pain. I like a lot of that bullshit heartbreak whatever. It toughens you up, it raises your guards. Its a painful lesson to learn but necessary. I do things that are necessary. So that when the right person comes along, he/she will have all the right keys to walk through those countless barricade of doors.

It will be difficult for anyone not in my position to understand my decision for not attending the fyp meeting tomorrow. First of all, its neither an official nor necessary meeting. Second, i hardly believe anything conclusive will come up from the meeting. If so, im sure it'll have to be re-evaluated after next week's OFFICIAL meeting at Changi AFTER we've been briefed by the department in-charge.

I'm not just working for any other camp company now. I was chosen exclusively by this company, exclusively because they know I'll do a good job and because the investors have a huge amount of trust in me. I can't let them down with lack-worthy attitude and especially not for a meeting thats NOT EVEN necessary. Even the ADVISOR said,"This are his exact words "You can meet up amongst yourselves 1st. Try find out about airfield vehicle tracking systems used in airports."

Obviously if there was a crucial meeting like or if we even knew about what's expected of us, obviously my decision would be different. We don't even have a project scope for crying out loud. I don't see how anything can be ever accomplished without any direction or expectation. If research is what you're aiming to get at, you've got four brains! That's more than enough!

Its not everyday i run away and do camps and touch kids lives.
Especially since the poor week last week and some ongoing niggling issues, camp is like a bloody relief for me.

I wanted to have a good weekend.
People change their turbulent lives after they have a kid. Well i may too optimistic. Of course im not generalizing this. There are other people who lose their ways, and this simply doesn't apply.
Its sad when you come across these stories. You want to help but youre not an army, youre not important. You're hopeless in this battle. All you can do is just spectate, spectate and watch as things continue to crumble.

Yesterday was a good day!
Most part of it.
I do not like my Thursday group, no i dont, but on Fridays, i have Fadh and Alexsis who are extremely hardworking and always put on a consistent show! I enjoy the day, plus Captain John to boot. Lessons are going well.

Poland President TU-154

My deepest condolences to the Republic of Poland. I don't think everyone fully understands the full extend of the situation. Imagine if your country is still in its developing stages, and your LEADERS- President, First lady, Defence Ministers, Military Chief, Central Bank Governor, Foreign Minister, Members of the Parliament etc, the very people you rely on to prevent total meltdown of your country, are all completely WIPED OUT at one go.

It is dramatic. Nothing short of a disaster.

Late last night i did research and a study on Smolensk airport, and on the plane TU-154 and began to piece out and come out with my own conclusions. This is for the benefit for those who don't read the papers kay? :P Let me GESHY-MANS TERM it for you. Lame yes, BITE ME.
I've divided it into parts with questions.

1- WHY THE HELL WHERE ALL THE IMPORTANT PEOPLE THERE?
If history serves you right, which it will not because in secondary school, the only history we learned was the propaganda of Singapore's blahhhh blahhh.. It all started in 1939, when the Soviets ordered the Massacre of over 20,000 Polish Military personnel and civilians in Katyn Forest, hence the title, Katyn Massacre. It was a brutal genocide that went on unblamed for YEARS as the Soviets pushed the blame to the Nazis and they returned the blame back to the Soviets. Eventually even the RUSSIANS came into the picture. That happened 70 years ago, the Polish high ranking officials were trying to land at Smolensk airport as they were there to commemorate the memorial service.

2- Problems with Smolensk Airport(LNX)
There was a thick fog that surrounded the entire area. Now during approaches(landings) there is a protocol to follow depending severity due to weather. We categorize it as CAT 1, CAT 2, CAT 3A CAT3B landings. These categories are based on the decision height(height which you can decide to abort landing) and RVR(runway visibility range) By the description of thick fog, i can only assume the visibility was absolutely non-existent to the point of not being to see whats ahead and below. A description mentioned above would qualify as a CAT 3 landing. Now from the reports given, the Airport on its on had no proper ILS (instrument landing system- system that shows your alignment to the runway as well as height)

*sidenote my research from airline forums tells me that (LNX) didnt even have a ILS system.

Without an ILS and with the weather as it was, it was almost impossible to bring down the plane safely.

3- WHERE IT ALL WENT WRONG AND WHY?!
Russian ATC(air traffic control) has given a statement mentioning that the ATC had already given repeated orders to the Pilots to divert to MOSCOW however this request went neglected. From my understanding, the Pilot tried to land the bird 3 times and the fatal crash finally occurred on the 4th try as he descended below his scheduled glide path and eventually clipped the top of the some trees in the forest some 2 km away from the runway.

Now there are some questions to be asked here!

First- The Pilot would have known better. He knows according to Air Law, he has to comply with ATC instructions unless he perceives an obvious danger. The decision to redirect to Moscow airport from the ATC controller was with knowledge that Smolensk(LNX) DID NOT have an ILS, making landing in that weather extremely difficult.

The question being thrown around here is, was he given a PRESIDENTIAL ORDER to land in that severe weather? Knowing the difficult Political situation back in Poland, they took this memorial service extremely seriously. Did the Pilot succumb to an order, given by the President to land the plane. What else could explain his extreme determination to land the with his previous 3 failed attempts?

Second- There are ridiculous allegations that the Russians had planned for some sort of an 'attack' like this. Could there be a possibility where this was premeditated? In their sensitive history, the Polish and Russian government has tricky ties with one another.

Third- Was the plane to be blamed??? The president's Tupolev 154(tu-154) was a Soviet-designed plane that was more than 20 years old. The tu-154s have just an average safety record considering the number of years it has already been in service. It has suffered to date, 66 incidents/accidents. The blame on the plane was ruled out as apparently, the Presidents tu-154 had recently an engine overhaul. The head of Russia's Aviakor aviation maintenance company said that the plane was airworthy! Besides, the fact that the Pilot tried to land the plane 3 bloody times indicates that the plane was working as it should!

Regardless your own conclusion-I think ive made my conclusion pretty obvious here-
the blackbox has been retained by the investigators. Patiently in time, light will be shed on this tragic accident. I am very interested to know the last conversations the Pilot had with ATC.

I hope this sheds some light on the recent event. Sorry if it was draggy.

Rockclimbing today with Kel Vin was an awesome workout. Full body, all adrenaline. The both of us did get tired rather fast though. Jessica Leon dropped by, "shouted GESHY" and i got a shock. She had a butch friend(from rp also) and her gf there too, and the two of them major freaking good at climbing. Kel Vin and i were stuck at this particular orange course, we could only get up halfway with fatigue setting in, but Jessica's butch's girlfriend was major awesome. She completed the orange course easily and nimbly. WTH.

MAJOR RESPECT.

It was a good,worthwhile trip, nice to catch up with Kel Vin always. Had a good talk, and i feel confidence is swinging back my way, which is good. Im gona finish my third year strongly. :)
You guys have to cheer me on yeah?! I love all of you seriously. I think my life would have been utterly disgustingly boring without each and every individual. Every night, i thank the person above for your divine intervention :D

I have peaked again. This time im on another extreme, the happy extreme. There are many many levels kids can get me during camp. There's like a range in increasing order

HAPPY
JUBILATION
ECSTASY and finally
EUPHORIA.

I feel like i generally leave most of my camps happy and in jubilation but only the handful groups(they'll know themselves because im transparent) fulfiled/surpassed all my expectations and left me genuinely euphoric. To the exact point when i know i will miss all of them, every little battery with our neat closely run circuit. Its been a long while since ive been this generous with my words but truth be told, im quickly running out of superlatives for class 3N3/GRP FIVE.

Each unique fit tells a true story of overcoming difficulty and even though i am thoroughly exhausted, you've left me gunning for memories. Even more affectionate they were, they collectively arranged themselves and bought KUEH LAPIS CAKE just for me. Its a whole big deal seeing the changes you have impacted on these wonderful people's lives, makes my own life feel worth it, very very worth it.

Back from a one day Amazing race style camp with Temasek Secondary.
We were doing this event specifically for all the leaders in the school.
Least to say, I was in charge of FRANCE, and i hardly put in any effort to get this team going.
True leaders can take leadership, and can follow leadership.
Although Team France didnt win anything, i hope they will remember the times when they ran together with me ALL over CBD to busk for $7dollars, to get 3 tourists to dance together with us, collect random "challenger items" (:

Back from Tanjong Katong Primary School's Camp!
It was all good.
I miss the cute kids, i think they all did grow alot from the camp and its always rewarding to see such progress. Since day one the kids were all hyped up and always volunteering to do things. Even pick up trash and litter. Exceptional leadership qualities. A very good school, possibly the best Primary school in Singapore in my books :)

PCB for tanjong katong primary school for MOJO was held at Jbac. Was pretty laid back, no rush to finish which felt good.

yeah, we bought him a Parker pen. Thought we could have engraved his name on it but apparently, Parker had the engraving 2 months ago as a promotion. If you want it now, you gotta send it to the factory and wait a week in total contrast to doing it spontaneously. Yea that was the road block, also we have to get the one in SILVER which is major....... we'll make do with what we have!

I dont know why i get crazy for those i love. Virtually wana spend and buy everything possible for them. Mustafa easily wins the BEST FACILITATOR from my heart, he was there for me when i needed him, he taught me well :)

SACSS's campfire has to be the best ive attended so far( based of the groups performances )
All the groups had their own leaders who came up with ideas and their own steps which were pretty darn good outstanding so they truly deserve any acknowledgment.

Im glad i met the instructors. We even formed OUR OWNNNNN CLIQUE since everyone's like in cliques nowadays, its called...... HOC, i think. haha. The clique consists of... REDDY, KEL VIN, HAYDEN, MATTHEW and ME (LATEST ADDITION)

Teachers liked us so much they bought us drinks and even bought Janaine and Me COCONUT! SO fresh. Awesomeness. We had trouble opening it though. haha EPIC.
